Theatre Paradok are thrilled to announce our Intro to Acting course for semester 1 of 2023/2024. It’s tailored towards beginners with the primary goal of having fun together while learning about acting! You will learn the basics of presenting yourself on stage. You do not need to have completed this course to get involved with our plays, but it will excellently prepare you to audition. The course will start with making you feel right at home on the stage, and then move on to topics such as improvisation, scene study, voice and projection, movement and physical theatre, and audition preparation.
Sessions will be weekly from 18:00 to 19:45 on Thursdays, with the last session in December depending on interest. In order to continue, you will need to buy Theatre Paradok membership here. You are welcome to join the course at any time, but priority will be given to those already on the course. In order to get the most out of the course, we strongly advise to attend all sessions as these will build on previous sessions.
